1

Download

Download the DeviceCheck Scanner ZIP and extract it to a local folder on the Windows PC you want to verify.

2

Run the scanner

Open Run-DeviceCheck-Scanner.cmd. The scanner collects hardware evidence and performs the configured diagnostic checks locally.

3

Open the report

When the scan completes, open the Public Report URL shown by the scanner. A valid result should display VERIFIED.

What the website can and cannot do

A browser cannot directly read the full Windows hardware evidence required by DeviceCheck. The local scanner performs that work, while the website provides the download, secure production API, and public verification report.

Pilot note: this build may trigger Windows SmartScreen because it is not yet Authenticode-signed. Verify the published SHA-256 checksum before running it.
